Here
are some of the photos I took from the car window. They
show the variety of roads and scenery along the way. It
was a great trip and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I was going
to mention the highlights of the trip for me, but there
were just too many. I loved it all. Tim has always wanted
to see Crater Lake and Yosemite Park and although these
were definitely highlights for him, he makes special mention
of the Oregon shores and the high desert landscapes.
What else did we learn from our trip? It's not necessary
to plan everything down to the finest detail. We had no
trouble at all finding accomodation each night. I packed
the wrong clothes, as usual, not taking a heat wave into
account. I also packed too much food, but hey, better too
much than not enough, huh? And I was not prepared for a
dratted muscle spasm in my back on the fourth day which
severly curtailed my mobility. I thank my lucky stars that
Tim loves to drive!
It was a truly memorable trip. |
