| Looking much like a chipmunk, this Golden-Mantled Ground Squirrel was very inquisitive as we sat there trying to decide whether to hike a mile to the caves. (Not this time, I'm afraid, as I was still dizzy from the cinder cone climb and the temperature was climbing past 100°F already.) |
