I surely am lucky that Tim loves driving. In four days we passed through portions of four states, almost 1600 miles. What a trip!

Day 1 Our aim was to visit Craters Of The Moon National Park in Idaho so our longest drive was the first day, southeast through Washington and the northwest part of Oregon into Idaho ending at Twin Falls.

Day 2 We explored the Craters Of The Moon then meandered up the Salmon River Scenic Byway for an overnight stay in Salmon.

Day 3 On Sunday we headed north to Lolo, Montana then west across Idaho via the Northwest Passage Scenic Byway to Lewiston, on the border of Washington and Idaho.

Day 4 We headed home on Monday across eastern Washington, enjoying parts of the state new to us. It was a wonderful journey.
