Sadly, Mount Rainier was not visible today - that is one awesome sight - but here's the first glimpse we got of the Emerald City, across the water.

I took this shot inside the ferry as we headed into the harbor.

A cormorant was nonchalantly scratching his fleas as we landed.


This is a very tiny portion of the huge shipping area.


The white structure is Seahawk Stadium and you can see the faint corner of Safeco Field, where
the Mariners play, behind and to the right of the three dark red cranes.

Yup - another great day! :))
