The Red Barn was an area of the museum which tells the story of the birth of aviation. The displays were very interesting. Most were encased in glass so it made picture-taking difficult.

I was surprised to learn that early aircraft were made of wood.

Again, displays were at all levels.

This is a passenger chair from an early aircraft :D

And here's the pilot's seat - it looked very hard!
