The
good news was that we reached an operator immediately.
The not-so-good news was that it would be at least an
hour before help would arrive. So in order to keep warm,
we walked a few of the trails. Here's a strange monument
we found at the end of one of them. It just looked out
of place or something. *shrug* It's a monument to the
donor of the land for the park.
We played
a few games of tag around a tree.
Ang huddled on a log, trying to keep her blood moving.
Duh!!!!! The log was wet!!!
Here's another stroke of luck, right across the road from
us.
In
desperation, Ang climbs the tree to see where the locksmith
is.
And here
is our hero!
I
swear he had that car opened in twenty seconds. I tell
you, we were very glad to get into Rosie and blast the
heater. By this time it was nearly 3:30 pm so we decided
not to push our luck, and we headed for home.
It
was fun!
