One side of Semiamoo
Bay is bordered by the Peace Arch Crossing. The white structure is the
actual arch, and the one with the green roof is where the border guards
are stationed. Eventually I decided to move to Seattle, and in 1999, that's
where I encountered "Norm". Sad to say, he would not let me
into the USA, so in a haze of tears and a cloud of weeping, I turned around
and drove to the first town I could find, which turned out to be the town
across the water in the first picture above. It was called White Rock
and it became my home for a couple of months. |
