| We left Bellingham
and headed south on Chuckanut
Drive, one of the most beautiful roads in the area, connecting Bellingham
with Skagit County. Here's just one of the beautiful scenes along the
way. The dark island above is Lummi Island, and many of the San Juan Islands
are visible on a clear day. Below are some old photos which were posted on a sign along the way - I thought they were neat :)) And yes, the road has been improved somewhat since then although it's still steep and craggy. |
