Finally we arrive at our destination - Rainy Pass, the place with the "easy-hike, mile-long paved trail" leading to a view of Rainy Lake. We figured we were due for an easy hike, having cut our hiking teeth on those two grueling ordeals last week. Hmmm....how come there is SNOW here? Sheeeesh, it's gotta be 90 degrees out! Oh well, maybe it won't be too bad...we decide to give it a try.
