Andrew Espeland with baby Dorothy. I expect my Grandmother Laura made much of Dorothy's clothing. I remember her lovely handiwork - the stitches were so tiny and precise. She also enjoyed embroidery, making lace and knitting. When she lived with us, my mother Dorothy, who made many clothes herself, would always turn the garment over to her mother Laura, for hemming.
