This picture was taken in June of 1932. On the back is written "A 'proud' and 'happy' moment when I have seen you as this."

Leslie always loved music. Not only did he play many instruments but also he sang in the church choir.

One of my fondest childhood memories is of us all riding along in the car, singing songs in harmony at the tops of our lungs. Leslie always provided the booming bass.

Here's one of his favorite car songs. It's one which could go on forever.

On Ilkley Moor Bah’tat
(On Ilkley Moor Without A Hat)
