How could Tim and I resist such an invitation ? Well, we didn't, especially after learning that the highlight of the parade was the BASSET BRIGADE - a seething mass of Tim's favorite canines. This was definitely NOT Macy's Parade. As you'll see, it was "come one, come all" - anyone could walk the route. Floats and costumes were of the homespun variety, and only one marching band was in evidence. The only clown I saw was the ubiquitous Ronald McDonald.
