Grant's Gazelle
and Patas Monkey
Near the giraffes
and zebras grazed several Grant's Gazelles. These graceful creatures
are usually found in southeastern Sudan, Ethiopia, Somalia, Tanzania,
Uganda and Kenya.
Also loping playfully along the perimeter were a number of Patas
monkeys. Once I'd read that when relaxed, patas monkeys lean back
and put their feet up, and I'm always hoping to catch one like that
but no dice this time, alas. |
