North Creek Trail

March 2016

Flying practice again.

The Great Blue Heron is so graceful.

Always perfect are the leg and wing positions.

Over the trail he goes and off into the distance.

A Varied Thrush has been visiting us lately - he's gorgeous especially on a gray day.

I get my first look at a tiny Golden-crowned Sparrow playing on the Trail.

A nearby tree announces Spring will be here soon..

A Red-breasted Sapsucker  tries to hide from my camera lens.

A tiny Wren sings lustily away in the reeds.

And here are the first Salmonberry blossoms.

I watched a couple of Hooded Mergansers making eyes at each other.

Woowoo - here comes a cutie!

I'm just going to pretend I don't see that awesome hunk of duckness.

And they spent a few minutes trying to ignore/check out each other.

Okay, here's my most handsome pose for her.

*pretending to be having a nap*

If she doesn't notice this one, then I give up!

Oh well - it was fun while it lasted.  Off I go.

I'm following him, teehee.  He's so cute.

And off went the new friends.
