On
August 15 we began a 3-leg trip. First
was a flight from Seattle to Toronto to visit
my family in nearby Burlington. It was
lovely to see everyone again.
Morgan and Jack welcome us.
Sydney asks if we'd like to go to the park.
Of course we would. Morgan loves the park too.
Sydney tries to do everything that Morgan does.
Later on, cousin Crue and his Mom and Dad visit for
a barbecue.
They're leaving for California in a day or two.
Here's
a photo of my whole family! During the
next part of our trip we will be going to
Tim's Mother's family reunion - more than 100
people! Yikes!
After
dinner I was surprised with a raspberry, white
chocolate Bundt birthday cake.
It was nearly my birthday and we were all together, so
it was great!
The next day it's back to the park, before the
thunderstorms start.

Sydney liked going out to play in the rain.
The
next day we went to Lasalle Park to
say
hello to the swans, chipmunks and birds.
It's changed a lot since I came here as a kid but
it's still a great place to visit.
Sydney
makes a new friend who seems to be very hungry.
Morgan
makes a new friend too.
