These
were made in the Museum's Hot Shop.
I
kept reminding myself that the colors were not painted on.
Some
were whimsical, like these, entitled Simple Syrup.
Most
were very colorful.
There
were so many things to look at.
I
loved the glass birds.
The
delicate balls reminded me of the huge crystal dragonfly in one
of the exhibitions.

Before
we left, we managed to find the famous Bridge
Of Glass, 'a 500-foot-long pedestrian bridge linking downtown
Tacoma, Washington, to the city's waterfront...Conceived by Dale
Chihuly, artist and native of Tacoma, and designed in collaboration
with Arthur Andersson of Andersson·Wise Architects, it is
a display of color and form soaring seventy feet into the air.'

From
a distance we thought the hollow crystal towers looked like a bunch
of garbage bags. :)
