There are some very old, very big Douglas Firs in these woods. |
The lighting in the woods was so pretty.
Tim found many things to photograph.
Some very tiny mushrooms grew on a nurse log.

| At Boulder Creek Bridge we had another spectacular look at Mount Baker. |
Ahhh pretty Skunk Cabbage - another sign of Spring.
I also heard frogs croaking at this spot.
A colorful Question Mark butterfly darted around for a while..
We ate a late lunch on a hillside overlooking Baker Lake.
| Waaaaah, is it time to go home? Yes it was. We were out in the sunshine for nearly 10 hours. Temperatures almost reached 70°F (20°C). Bliss. |
