The area includes a pond, waterfalls, lots of pruned trees and stonework.

 

Here's Tim taking a close look at one of the stonework pieces.

 

The Seike Garden was moved to this location in 2006, so is still a work in progress.

 

It was very peaceful and tranquil, even with the jets flying low overhead.

 

Next was a look at the Iris garden, also tended by volunteers.

 

Although past their prime, the remaining irises were outstanding.

 

I marvelled at their delicate colors and fragile beauty.

 

I guess I got a little bit carried away with the iris photos. ;-)
