Many irises were very unusual colors.

Next we walked through the wooded paths to find a nice spot for lunch.

And we found a beauty.

You can't beat this for a decent lunch view!

Lots of bees were having lunch too.

On the way back to the car, I noticed that the peonies were all ready to blossom.
 |
||
With one last look behind us...
 |
||
we once again walked through
the gate and headed for home.
