Thundering down on the left are the 58 feet tall North Fork Falls.
A quarter mile downstream are the 45 foot Lower North Fork Falls
 
 
   
 
Here's the Forest Service Road we drove on for several miles.
 
 
   
 
Columbian/Tiger Lilies glowed like jewels in the greenery.
 
 
   
 
Periodically we spied mountain tops through the greenery.
 
 
   
 
This is one of the most scenic 'rest areas' I've ever seen.
 
 
   
 
A large bunch of Cascade Penstemon flowers grew nearby.
 
 
   
 
We drove home through Darrington, an old lumber and mining town watched over by White Horse Mountain.
