We finished our tour with a walk through the Nature Gallery and Museum.
It was a small building and the walls were lined with stuffed animals and sculptures.
There was such a wide variety of animals from all over the world that I wondered if the Zoo was a sort of a dumping ground for inherited umm treasures ;-)
The expressions on the animals faces were amazing. They ranged from rather complacent...
to nasty and mean....
to goofy...
to ferocious...

to just plain scary.

Anyway, it was a good trip. I wished that there had been a map. When I enquired about one, I was told "The Director does not believe in maps." Ummm, okay, but it would have been nice to know what was where. We spent ages looking for the alpacas and antelopes, finally learning that they weren't on display.

There are several new areas being constructed for these animals, and it might be worth a trip to see them at a later date.
