"Inspired by
the four firefighters that died in the line of duty while fighting a warehouse
fire in Seattle's Chinatown International District on January 5th, 1995,
the Fallen Firefighter's Memorial is a respectful tribute to all thirty-one
firefighters that have died in the line of duty since the department began
in 1889". |

are a few odd wooden statues in Pioneer Square. |
All
around downtown Seattle are decorated Nutcracker figures, meant to signify
that it's time for the Christmas Season's annual Nutcracker Ballet. |
This
is another view of the Smith Tower which used to be the tallest building
in Seattle. |
I
loved this old sign, facing the north side of Pioneer Square. |
Last
stop was a leisurely lunch at Chinook on Salmon Bay. Here's our lunch
view. |
