Here we are at the top of Chinook Pass (altitude: 5400 feet). The scenery on the way to to top was spectacular, but there was no place at all to take pictures...the road was narrow with huge snowbanks on either side. The pass had only been opened this week. Here is what it looked like a couple of weeks ago.
