To take this picture, I stood on tiptoe, at the edge of the road, and held the camera up as high as I could over my head, aimed down the valley. The snowbank was over five feet high. I THINK the view was nice, but I couldn't see much.

There were truckloads of kids with skis and snowboards along this route - it was hard to imagine where they were going to ski because all the terrain looked sooooo steep, and there were no ski resorts around that I could see.
