Little Leslie and his Auntie Kath, sister of his mother Lilian. Leslie is five days old in this picture. It was taken on October 4th, 1914. Many years later, Kath was the first babysitter for Leslie and his wife Dorothy. Kath was the youngest sister of three. She was married in her forties, to a teacher called David Jones, quite a few years older than her.
