Meriel
Meriel,
a Welsh name meaning "little Mary" was born on September
21, 1949. In her teenage years, Meriel used to chuckle about her
name, saying that "little Mary" was ironic, once she
reached the height of 5 ft 11 in.
A placid and easy child, Meriel was known for being very determined,
even stubborn. She had many talents. She was sensitive, artistic,
athletic and an excellent student. Life had many ups and downs
for Meriel.
She left this world on February 3, 1977 at the age of 27. I think
of her every single day.
