Several Bald Eagles enjoyed the wind today.

Tim found this gorgeous immature Bald Eagle.

He was very patient, letting us photograph him for 10 minutes or so.

Meanwhile, back at the nest, one of the eagles was busy ummm preparing dinner.

Several Great Blue Herons hung around too.  This one showed off his fishing skills.

A flock of shorebirds darted here and there, in and out of the water.
I'm not sure what they are yet.

As we were leaving, we ran into more fields of Snow Geese.
The Pacific Flyway is a major north-south route for migratory birds.
It extends from Alaska to Patagonia.

'Oh for goodness' sake quite sulking and smile.  She just wants to take your picture.'

Up and down the furrows went the Snow geese - a pretty sight.

And with that, we headed for home.

'Y'all come back now, ya hear?'.
