As nice as the views are I also have to watch the ground a lot or ker-plunk!.

Time to stop for a drink and a snack.

It can be quite humbling to be among the mountain tops.

Now we say good-bye to the magnificent Mount Baker.

And goodbye to my dear Mount Shuksan.

We stop at Picture Lake on the way down.  There are Purple Alpine Asters everywhere.

Picture Lake was as pretty as always.

A pair of Gray Jays watched some picnickers on the observation deck.

This one wasn't sure what to do with crackers and cheese.
