Tim loved the observation
deck near the docks. |

Later in the afternoon we saw this
astonishing sight - hundreds of shorebirds wheeling and diving in sync. |

Eventually they all landed on a
nearby dock. I think they were mostly Marbled Godwits with a Willet
or two. |

Within seconds they
tucked their heads under their wings and went to sleep. |

A stately llama watched
us drive past. |

The bay was surprisingly
calm in this area. |

After dinner we caught
a sunset on the way home. |

Time to head back
to the Mothership aka the Chateau. |

Now it is our last morning here so of course we headed to the shore for a last look. | |||||||||||
