Aggressive elk huh? Wheee - bring 'em on!
The trail is beautiful. Sometimes there are little ponds and creeks.
Tim finds many things to photograph.
I tried to get inside this old tree but I was too wide.
There are a bazillion shades of green.
Tim takes a rest on a root.
Last time we saw an Elk here beside the river. This year, no dice.

Tim has found a Hobbit Hole.
Next we walk along the Hall of Mosses trail.
It's at a higher elevation, and the trail is well-maintained.

Oddly shaped fungi grow here and there. I thought this one was pretty.
