If you look carefully, you can see a faint line on the hillside. That marks the Ptarmigan Ridge Trail, where we had hoped to hike today. It's quite a steep trail in spots though, so we didn't want to risk it while it was still partially snow-covered.

On the way back down from the Point, we stopped at Picture Lake to snap one of our favorite subjects, Mount Shuksan. It's a lovely mountain with many different appearances, some of which can be seen here.

As we were descending, a group of cars like this passed us on the way up.

Well! Here is the road to Twin Lakes. The road has deteriorated to this track and the further we go, the worse it gets. Our decision is whether or not to continue.
