Once at the bottom of the hill, you have to pick your way along great piles of driftwood and rocks.
 
 
 
We got there as the tide was slowly going out.
 
 
 

The waves rolled in and crashed over the rocks and sea stacks.
 

 
 
Of course I had my traditional walk in the water. It was very, very cold.

The ever-changing scene is so beautiful here on Ruby Beach.
 
 
 
Think we're happy? Actually we're laughing our heads off because Tim has figured out a way to take our picture together using his monopod and the timer on his camera. Whatta guy!
