Once at the
bottom of the hill, you have to pick your way along great piles
of driftwood and rocks.
We got there
as the tide was slowly going out.
The waves rolled in and crashed
over the rocks and sea stacks.
Of course I
had my traditional walk in the water. It was very, very cold.
I could watch the waves for
ages.
The bases of
the rocks were covered with pretty sea anemones.

Tim searches
for his next photo subject.
I take a snooze
in the sunshine.
The ever-changing
scene is so beautiful here on Ruby Beach.
Think we're happy?
Actually we're laughing our heads off because Tim has figured out
a way to take our picture together using his monopod and the timer
on his camera. Whatta guy!
